Here is a vintage Frankie Welch Order of the Eastern Star scarf from 1976-77. Is it "signed" (stamped or printed) by Marion N Sheffield WGM (Worthy Grand Matron) and Clifford C Grotz WGP (Worthy Grand Patron).
This is a scarf from 1977, and there are a couple of spots you should know about. There is a darkened area on white part of second panel from left, and a faint faded spot on red part of far right panel. Please look at the photographs to see these areas.
In case you're wondering, Frankie Welch is a well-known textile designer in Alexandria, Virginia. She was Betty Ford's preferred designer when Ford was the First Lady of the USA, and many other national political figures also frequented her shop. Frankie Welch is most well-known for her Cherokee alphabet scarves, which drew upon her own Cherokee (1/32) heritage.
