One small skein of pure wool Shetland Style yarn by Harrisville Designs. This (full) skein weighs 1.75 ounces (50 grams) and is 200 yards long. This is a fingering yarn, with about 14 wpi.
The fiber content is 100% pure virgin wool. It's nice and soft. The colorway ("Woodsmoke," lot 5717) is like a muted blue green. I saw some comments on Ravelry that this yarn is a little scratchy. I love the feel - to me it feels more crunchy? You know how when you squeeze the skein, it almost crinkles a bit and then pops back? That's what they might mean, but I don't find it unpleasant at all. I love that soft sound it makes. Or maybe I just love when the house is quiet enough to hear the yarn sounds. Three kids and I love them to pieces, but I love quiet yarn sounds too. :)
Never mind the red button in the third photo. I was having trouble with the photo color and I read somewhere that putting a red object in the photo would help. I don't know if it worked or not. I deleted lots of photos with the button, and lots without, ha ha.
Sorry, I've just got one skein of this gorgeous yarn.
Please send me any questions you may have, and thanks for looking.
