Sewing pattern to make:
Pencil skirt with back zipper and welt pockets or bow decoration, or side zipper and button/fringe side front. The side front buttons are decorative - the skirt is closed with a zipper under the fringe.
I bought this pattern secondhand. The envelope is damaged as shown, and the pattern is uncut and complete, and includes directions. The directions are cute, by the way. They explicitly instruct you how to use a pattern with printed marks on it, but here's the advice regarding the zipper: "insert zipper according to instructions given with zipper." There are other gems as well. The instructions are perfectly appropriate for a pattern from 1958. That is, if you are a beginning sewist you should probably have a translator to help you.
